Ukraine Accuses Russia Of Deliberately Killing Civilians And Causing Panic
JAKARTA - Ukrainian presidential adviser Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Tuesday, March 1 accused Russia of deliberately attacking cities, including residential areas and civilian infrastructure, to spread panic among Ukrainians.
"It was revealed. Russia was intensely shelling city centers, launching missile and artillery attacks directly against populated areas and government sites," presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak said.
"Russia's goals are clear - mass panic, civilian casualties as well as to damage infrastructure. Ukraine is fighting with honor."
Russia has called its actions in Ukraine a "special operation" which it says is not designed to occupy territory, but to destroy its neighbor's military capabilities and to capture what it considers dangerous nationalists.
