SIMPANG EMPAT - Traffic access at Simpang Empat to Talu, Talamau District, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra is still cut off due to landslides covering the road at three locations in Rimbo Kejahatan, Tuesday, March 1 morning.
"It is estimated that there are three landslide locations with a length of about 300 meters and a height of nearly two meters of landslide material", said one of the drivers contacted by Aswin, as reported by Antara.
According to him, this morning, he departed from Nagari Cubadak, Duo Koto Subdistrict, Pasaman Regency to go to the West Pasaman Simpang Empat via the Talu road.
However, when they arrived at Rimbo, Nagari Kajai, a landslide occurred and could not be passed because the material was found covering the road.
"It is estimated that there will be three landslide points. I and other drivers cannot pass through this road", he said.

Then he and other drivers turned towards Talu while waiting for the evacuation of the landslide material from the relevant parties.
On the evening of Monday, February 28, the Head of the West Pasaman Regional Disaster Management Agency, Azhar, confirmed that there was a landslide in Rimbo Kejahatan Talamau.
However, until Tuesday, March 1 morning, no heavy equipment had arrived to clean up the landslide material, causing traffic to completely cut off.
The Rimbo Kejahatan area is an area that was affected by an earthquake some time ago.
