The Man Who Jumped From The 8th Floor Of The North Jakarta Sea View Apartment, Lives In One Room With A Male Friend
JAKARTA - Penjaringan Police Criminal Investigation Unit investigators continue to investigate the motive for the alleged suicide of a man with the initials A (28) at the Pluit Sea View Apartment, Jalan Muara Baru, RT 005/003, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Sunday 27 February yesterday.
"The victim of depression (suicide), is still being investigated. From the information of his friends (depression)," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Penjaringan Police, AKP Fajar, when confirmed by VOI, Monday, February 28.
According to information, the victim was desperate to end his life by jumping from the apartment where he lived.
"Live a long time (in the apartment). The victim lived on the 8th floor, was busy with his friends. Yes (lived with all male friends)," Kanit told reporters.
Until now, the police are still asking for information from six eye witnesses who were arrested.
"There is CCTV evidence that has been secured. The results of the temporary investigation (suicide) are like that," he said.
Police also don't know for sure about the victim's death. Although the victim's colleague said that the victim was depressed.
"I can't confirm yet, (what depression is). The case is still being investigated. The victim works as a private employee," he said.
The Penjaringan Police Criminal Investigation Unit also did not find other objects belonging to the victim in the vicinity of the incident location.
"There is no will. The victim is not yet (married). The victim has been divisum at the RSCM," he said.
Previously, it was reported that a man was found dead in the Pluit Sea View Apartment, Jalan Muara Baru, RT 005/003, Penjaringan Village, Penjaringan Subdistrict, North Jakarta. The victim was desperate to end his life by jumping from the 8th floor of the apartment.
