Held Case Completed, Bareskrim Decides To Re-Coordinate Suspect Nurhayati's Status
JAKARTA - Bareskrim has finished carrying out a case of alleged corruption in Citemu Village funds, Cirebon. As a result, the case that identified Nurhayati as a suspect will be re-coordinated to the Prosecutor.
"For suspect N, investigators will re-coordinate to the Public Prosecutor for the follow-up of this case," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Friday, February 25.
Meanwhile, the case title carried out by the Investigative Supervisory Bureau (Wassidik) also resulted in a different decision for the suspect, Citemu Village Head Supriyadi. Where, the case file will still be forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office for later trial.
"With regard to the case file or the case with the suspect initials S, this case will continue," said Ramadhan.
For information, Nurhayati is a reporter for a case of alleged misappropriation of village funds that caused state losses of Rp800 million from 2018 to 2020. However, she who was previously a reporter is now a suspect. is in accordance with the law. The police have several times completed case files for cases of corruption in village funds carried out by the Village Head Citemu Supriyadi, but the Public Prosecutor always refuses, arguing that they are incomplete.
Fahri continued that after the file was rejected, his party re-examined the case, and then referred to the treasurer of Citemu Nurhayati Village, after the person concerned was named a suspect after fulfilling the evidence.
"Sister Nurhayati was examined in depth, whether the act (with disbursing funds) was against the law or not. And from the results of the investigation that Sister Nurhayati was involved in enriching Supriadi's brother (so he was named a suspect)," he said.
Fahri admitted that his party had not found any evidence related to the flow of village funds into Nurhayati's personal pocket. However, his party confirmed that the determination of Nurhayati's suspect was in accordance with the rule of law.
