Bali Mandara Toll Road Rates Rise Starting Tomorrow
DENPASAR - The Bali Mandara Toll Road managed by PT Jasamarga Bali Tol (JBT) will apply toll rate adjustments starting February 26, 2022. This increase is based on the Decree of the Minister of PUPR Number 75/KPTS/M/2022 dated January 31, 2022.
"Regular tariff adjustments are part of the certainty of the return on investment scheme for toll road construction in accordance with the Business Plan to build a conducive toll road investment climate and encourage the ability of Toll Road Business Entities to increase the level of service for road users," said the President Director of JBT I. Ketut Adiputra Karang in Denpasar, Bali, quoted by Antara, Friday, February 25.
The tariff adjustment for the Bali Mandara Toll Road is carried out with a nominal value of IDR 500 for classes I to V. Meanwhile for class VI or two-wheeled vehicles, there is no tariff adjustment.
In detail, the tariff for Category I rose to IDR 13 thousand from the previous IDR 12.500, the tariff for Category II vehicles was from IDR 19.000 to IDR 19.500, Category III to IDR 19.500, Category IV to IDR 25.500, class V tariffs to IDR 25.500 and Category VI of IDR 5 thousand or no adjustment.
Ketut Adiputra Karang explained, the adjustment of the toll rate will of course be followed by an increase in services in all aspects of the Bali Mandara Toll Road which will continue to be carried out consistently.
"Not only efforts to improve quality include road maintenance, painting toll road dividing walls, repairing signs, repairing toll gates, but also in the form of beautification along the operations of the Bali Mandara Toll Road in the form of planting ornamental plants at interchanges, toll road tappers, and toll road medians," he said.

In addition, JBT is also committed to continuously improving toll road operational service standards that support the principle of sustainability by using environmentally friendly energy through cooperation in the construction of Solar Power Plants (PLTS) in the form of solar panels along the two-wheeled track with PT Bukit Energi Investama (BEI).
This environmentally-friendly electric power will later become the main energy source for the operation of the Bali Mandara Toll Road.
"As a form of environmental concern, JBT will also continue to plant mangrove plants, which previously reached 70 thousand plants, to approximately 750.000 mangrove plants ahead of the 2022 G20 Presidency in Bali," said Ketut Adiputra Karang.
