Fugitive Cases Of Motorcycle Fraud And Embezzlement Arrested At An Alcohol Party In Jember Localization
JEMBER - The Jember Police Team arrested a man with the initials A (30) from Banyuwangi, East Java. Police have been hunting for the man for a long time for fraud and embezzlement cases in several horseshoe areas.
Jember Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Komang Yogi Arya Wiguna, said the man was arrested in the localization area in the Umbulsari area, Jember. The man was having a drinking party on Saturday, February 19.
The perpetrator is a fugitive in cases of fraud and embezzlement of motorbikes. The results of the development of the alleged perpetrators have launched their actions in Jember and Lumajang Regencies.
"Yesterday, 2 victims appeared who had reported. Investigators are now also developing this case, and several more crime scenes have appeared, such as Lumajang district and several sub-districts in the Jember region with similar cases, namely illegal fraud", said Komang Yogi, Monday, February 21.
The police at that time interrogated the perpetrators regarding the sale of the stolen motorbike. When examined, the alleged perpetrator was convoluted to provide information.
"We carried out developments in other districts looking for evidence, and it turned out that the perpetrator was lying. It turned out that the proceeds of his crime were sold to the Sumberbaru District and our detention house was raided and the perpetrator fled and we have secured the evidence at the police headquarters", he explained.

According to the police, the perpetrator has been involved in several legal cases. In 2001, the perpetrator was involved in a molestation case. Meanwhile, in 2004, the perpetrator was involved in an embezzlement case.
"The police, who do not immediately believe in the perpetrator's statement, (investigators) will coordinate with the surrounding Police regarding the perpetrator's actions. Who knows there are more victims in several places where the perpetrators have done and caused many other victims", he said.
