Minister Of Trade Lutfi Operations Market Supply Of 23 Thousand Liters Of Cooking Oil In Bandung, People Can Buy Bulk Oil For IDR 11,500 Per Liter
JAKARTA - Trade Minister Muhammad Lutfi continues to carry out market operations to meet the supply of cooking oil. This time, Trade Minister Lutfi in collaboration with the West Java Province Trade and Industry Office conducted market operations by supplying 23 thousand liters of bulk cooking oil in Bandung, West Java.
"Bulk and packaged cooking oil market operations will continue to be carried out by the government simultaneously in all provinces in Indonesia until Eid al-Fitr, in order to ensure that the public gets a supply of cooking oil at affordable prices," said Trade Minister Lutfi in a statement quoted by Antara, Monday, February 21.
The Minister of Trade continues to operate the bulk cooking oil market in Bandung City, West Java, with five markets that are of concern to the Ministry of Trade, including the Simple Market, Kosambi Market, Kiara Condong Market, Cicadas Market, and New Market.
Trade Minister Lutfi advised that the price sold to traders in the market should not exceed Rp. 10,500 per liter. That way, people can get bulk cooking oil for Rp11,500 per liter.
The former Indonesian ambassador to the United States asked that no party be playing games or intending to seek profit only in the midst of this cooking oil issue. Trade Minister Lutfi said he would not hesitate to take the party to the police.
"The Ministry of Trade will also take strict action against hoarders who violate and will process them according to applicable law," he concluded.
