Tanjungbalai Police Raid Drug Village

TANJUNGBALAI - The Tanjungbalai Police together with related agencies again carried out raids on drug villages on Jalan Anwar Idris, Bunga Tanjung Village and Jagung Alley, Pahang Village, Tanjungbalai City, North Sumatra.

"The raid on the drug village is in the context of Antique Operation 2022 in the jurisdiction of the Tanjungbalai Police," said Tanjungbalai Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Triyadi, in a written statement, Sunday, February 20.

Triyadi said the raid took place on Saturday (19/2) from 14.00 to 18.00 western Indonesia time.

The activity was led by the Head of the Narcotics Unit at the Tanjungbalai Police, Commissioner Adjutant of Police S Tambunan, together with 8 Narcotics Sat personnel, 1 Intelkam Sat personnel, and 2 Propam personnel.

Then, 10 personnel from the Tanjungbalai City National Narcotics Agency (BNN), 3 Tanjungbalai City Government employees, 1 Bhabinkamtibmas personnel, and 3 Polsek personnel.

"Nine people who tested positive for drugs were handed over to the Tanjungbalai City BNN office for a medical assessment," said the Tanjungbalai Police Chief.

Previously, the raid at the first location was on Anwar Idris Street, Bunga Tanjung Village, Datuk Bandar District, Tanjungbalai City, and at that location, a urine test was carried out on 5 people with positive drug results. The five people are David Febrian (21), Syawal Agusti (41), Midun Marpaung (30), Suryadi (45) and Idrus Usman (47).

Then, raids were carried out at the second location, namely Jagung Alley, Pahang Village, Datuk Bandar District, Tanjungbalai City. From that location, urine tests were carried out on 1 male and 1 female with both positive results for drugs, namely M. Ridwan Hasibuan (57) and Ling Ling (38).

Next, the team moved to a boarding house on Sudirman Street, Sirantau Village, Datuk Bandar District, Tanjungbalai City. At that location, urine tests were carried out on 4 boarding house residents with the results of 2 negative people and 2 drug positive people. Two people tested positive for drugs on behalf of Nirma Hasibuan (28) and Suryanti (34). Meanwhile, two people tested negative for drugs on behalf of Tiwi (27) and M. Daud (27).
