Ministry Of Health: Cares Protect Color Status Changes Automatically After Isoman

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health has adjusted the color status of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the PeduliLindung application based on criteria when the patient is declared complete isolation.

"This provision is in accordance with Circular Number HK.02.01/MENKES/18/2022 concerning the Prevention and Control of the Omicron Variant of COVID-19 Cases," said Expert Staff of the Minister of Health for Health Technology, Setiaji in a press release quoted by Antara, Tuesday, February 15.

In the confirmed case, he said, the black status returned to its original color after the PCR test was repeated twice with negative results the fastest being carried out on H+5 and H+6 since being positive for COVID-19 with an interval of at least 24 hours. "Without a retest, the black status will automatically be completed on D+10," he said.

He said the first day of being positive for COVID-19 started from the date the laboratory results came out. For example, calculating the date of positive confirmation and retesting on February 1, the results of the antigen/PCR test coming out on the first positive day.

On February 2 H+1 positive, February 3 H+2 positive, February 4 H+3 positive, February 5 H+4 positive, February 6 H+5 positive for the first PCR test, February 7 H+6 positive for the PCR test second repeat.

"The retest must go through a PCR examination. A negative test result with an antigen is not recognized. If the results of both PCR tests are negative, the black status is complete, and it automatically returns to its original color," he said.

Without retesting using PCR or when the test results are still positive, Setiaji said, self-isolation must be continued for a minimum of 10 days and the black status is complete on D+10 since being tested positive for COVID-19.

"The calculation is as follows, February 8 H+7 is positive, February 9 H+8 is positive,

February 10 H+9 is positive, February 11 H+10 is positive, then self-isolation is complete," he said.
