Living In Australia, The Trauma Of Acha Septriasa's Skirt Being Torn Due To Being Bitten By A Dog Can Heal
JAKARTA - Acha Septriasa admitted that he had a traumatic experience being chased by a dog. The experience happened when Acha was a child.
"When I was in elementary school, I used to live at Grandma's house. In one of the alleys going to Grandma's house there was a shepherd dog. If I passed by there, my emotions would have been caught by the dog. I was in the first grade of elementary school alone, at that time I I was so scared of being chased by the dog, to the point of tearing my skirt, I climbed onto a power pole, like a cartoon," said Acha to VOI some time ago.
That experience made Acha unable to get close to any animal. "I was really scared, so I kept thinking how scary dogs are," recalls Acha.
That view began to change when he starred in the film June and Kopi, Acha felt that everything depended on the human mind. Depends on the mind and how to control emotions. If the intention is to love any animal, everything will be fine too.
"There is no such thing as fear and wild animals. If you can't love wild animals, then no one is a handler at the zoo. We can be kind to them, and they can feel our emotions. My view after playing this film is different. really, even closer to my neighboring animals here in Australia," he explained.
In Australia, continued Acha Septriasa, many neighbors have dogs. He became more used to seeing dogs as pets. "Because at home, in the neighbor's garden, I used to take the dog to play. I felt familiar with the animals," he recalls.
