Two More COVID-19 Patients Die In Tangerang
JAKARTA - The Tangerang Regency, Banten Province COVID-19 Handling and Countermeasures Task Force (Satgas) said that the number of people who died from positive COVID-19 in the area had now increased again, bringing the total to six people in January-February 2022. A spokesman for the Task Force Tangerang Regency COVID-19, Hendra Tarmizi said the two COVID-19 patients who died were residents from Rajeg District, Tangerang Regency. "This addition was known five days ago, but the reports have only been until now. The two residents have the initials M (46) and MR (48)," he said in Tangerang, Tuesday. He could not explain whether the patient who died was due to the Delta or Omicron variant. However, he confirmed that these two patients died from COVID-19. "One of the patients who died were elderly and pre-elderly. They generally had co-morbidities, and they had only been vaccinated once," he said.
He said that up to now, the total number of deaths due to the corona virus in Tangerang Regency was 402 people. He added that there were 11,818 new active cases, both patients undergoing treatment and patients undergoing isolation in integrated places, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 41,921 people. as many as 577 people with a total of 29,701 people, said Hendra Tarmizi.
