Three Suspected Of Vicky Firlana Murder At TPU Chober Threatened With Death Penalty
JAKARTA - The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Endra Zulpan said the three suspects in the murder of Vicky Firlana at the TPU Kober, Ulujami, South Jakarta face the death penalty or life imprisonment.
They are threatened with Article 340 in conjunction with 338 of the Criminal Code and/or 365 Paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code with the threat of 20 years in prison or life imprisonment, or the death penalty.
“Yes (threatened with the death penalty) for planning together. So LM's sister (Leli) at that time she took these two people (MYL and DR). Arranging that is called planning," Zulpan told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, February 14.
Detailing the murder that the three suspects had planned, Zulpan explained the chronology of the events that occurred on Thursday, February 10, early in the morning.
Zulpan said the incident began when Leli confessed to being jealous, because the victim Vicky was thought to have stolen her lover, HN (witness). HN, continued Zulpan, has been in a relationship with Leli for 9 years. On that basis, Leli asked DR and MYL to be the executor of Vicky's murder.
Zulpan also explained that Leli offered MYL and DR some money to carry out the crime. Leli, continued Zulpan, picked up DR at his residence in Srengseng, West Jakarta. Then the two of them picked up MYL in Cipondoh, Tangerang City.
"The perpetrator LM (Leli) picked up DR at his house in Srengseng, and picked up MYL in Cipondoh using LM's black Terios car," he explained.
After they gathered, the three went to the crime scene (TKP), namely at the Ulujami TPU. At 02.30 WIB, the three of them waited for Vicky to pass the Ulujami TPU, South Jakarta.
When the victim passed, DR and MYL launched their action at the crime scene using scissors. Furthermore, Zulpan said that the scissors were prepared by Leli as a weapon to kill the victim.
“DR and MYL carried out the stabbing, then the victim fell, and died at the scene. The perpetrator DR took the victim's motorbike. The victim was found dead at the TKP, suffering from two stabs in the stomach," concluded Endra Zulpan.
