JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is looking into giving money to inactive judge Itong Isnaeni Hidayat to deal with the dissolution of PT Soyu Giri Primedika (SGP) at the Surabaya District Court. The investigation was carried out by examining two witnesses, namely H. Mahmud Ali Zain and Abdul Majid who were entrepreneurs.
Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said that the examination of the two was carried out last Thursday, February 10 at the East Java Police Direkkrimsus Office.
"Both of them were present and confirmed, among other things, regarding the reasons for submitting the application for the dissolution of PT SGP to the Surabaya District Court and also regarding the alleged giving of a sum of money to suspect IIH so that the application is granted," Ali told reporters, Monday, February 14.
During the examination, the KPK also summoned the clerk of the Surabaya District Court, R. Joko Purnomo. Ali said investigators were investigating several things, including the communication that Joko had with Hamdan, who was a substitute clerk.
"The person concerned was present and confirmed, among other things, related to the witness's duties as Registrar and the witness' communication with suspect HD during the trial process of the PT SGP case," he said. Previously, the KPK appointed Surabaya District Court Judge Itong Isnaeni Hidayat to be inactive and substitute clerk Hamdan as recipients. bribe. This bribe was given by Hendro Kasiono so that the decision on the PT SGP case was according to his party's wishes, namely that the company was declared disbanded with a divisible asset value of IDR 50 billion.
The money given by Hendro to Hamdan was carried out in the parking lot of the Surabaya District Court Building amounting to Rp140 million as a sign of completion.
