COVID-19 Update As Of February 13: There Are 44,526 New Positive Cases, DKI Jakarta Most
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. Of the 451,040 examined, 44,526 new positive cases of COVID-19 were found.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,807,778 people and 352,839 active cases," said Ministry of Health data, Sunday, February 13.
Today's recovered cases increased by 26,916 cases, bringing the total to 4,309,763 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 111 people and the total was 145,176 people.
The province with the most new cases is DKI Jakarta with 10,172 cases and a total of 1,063,208 cases. Followed by West Java with 10,050 new cases with a total of 833,293 cases.
Furthermore, Banten with 5,592 new cases and a total of 206,719 cases. Also, East Java with the addition of 5,377 positive cases for a total of 440,798
Meanwhile, the province with the most recovered cases today is DKI Jakarta with an additional 16,342 recovered cases. So that the total cases recovered to 975,669 cases. Followed by East Java with an additional 3,287 cases recovered. Furthermore, Banten recorded an additional 2,799 recovered cases.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Health also noted that the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 77,415,802.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 16.04 percent," he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 23,218 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
So far, 188,282,851 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 135,766,676 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 7,048,731. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
