JAKARTA - Twitter Inc said on Friday, February 11 that it had fixed a software error on the micro-blogging site. This error has disrupted the service for several thousand of its users in a number of countries.
"We've fixed a technical bug that was preventing the timeline from loading and Tweets from posting. Everything should be back to normal now," the company said in a tweet also cited by Reuters.

Previously, Twitter had said on its status page that it was facing an increasing number of errors in its application programming interface, a set of protocols for building and integrating application software.
More than 40,000 users have reported service outages on Downdetector, a website that tracks outages by compiling status reports from a number of sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform.
Some users on Reddit have complained about logging out of their Twitter accounts, while others say they can't send or retrieve tweets.
