No Need To Worry, Ministry Of Health: Antiviral Drug Packages For Isoman COVID Patients Delivered 1x24 Hours
JAKARTA - The Director General of Health Services at the Ministry of Health (Kenenkes) Abdul Kadir said, the majority of deliveries of COVID-19 antiviral drug packages to self-isolated patients could be completed in 1x24 hours.
"There were problems for self-isolation packages, but now there have been improvements, 95 percent of deliveries can be done 1x24 hours," said Abdul Kadir, while giving a virtual press statement in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, February 10 evening.
Abdul Kadir said the smooth delivery of drug packages for self-isolated patients was supported by the Ministry of Health's collaboration with expedition service providers.
In addition, he said, the Ministry of Health has also ensured that the supply of antiviral drug packages at PT Kimia Farma is accelerated.
"We have collaborated with the fast delivery service provider and we asked PT Kimia Farma to accelerate the procurement of drug packages for self-isolated patients, so we can deliver them directly to homes," he said.
Meanwhile, based on the Ministry of Health's assessment report on the performance of telemedicine services in delivering drugs as of February 8, 2022, the number of drug prescription ransoms reached 10 thousand packages.
From a number of service openings in Java-Bali, said Abdul Kadir, the largest number of orders for drug packages came from the Surabaya and East Java areas.
