PDIP Suspects That Jakpro Conspiracy Won Jaya Konstruksi As The Winner Of The Formula E Tender, This Is The Reason
JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Regional House of Representatives, Gembong Warsono, suspects that there is a game in the tender process for the construction of the Formula E circuit. PT Jakarta Propertindo is suspected of deliberately winning over PT Jaya Konstruksi as the winner of the tender.
"Actually, this auction was arranged in such a way that it determined PT Jaya Konstruksi as the winner", said Gembong in his statement, Wednesday, February 9.
Gembong revealed the fact that PT Jaya Konstruksi had previously worked on the construction of a race track barrier or barrier.
However, this work has not been paid for by PT Jakpro as the organizer of Formula E. Therefore, Gembong suspects that Jakpro deliberately arranged for Jaya Konstruksi to become the winner of the tender because there is already a work commitment.
"There are indications that work has been carried out beforehand in the form of printing a track barrier by PT Jaya Konstruksi, but PT Jakpro has not paid for it. That is the basic reason that the auction had to be canceled first, then PT Jaya Konstruksi won.

In fact, the determination of Jaya Konstruksi as the winner of the tender is also considered strange. This is because the project value, which was only IDR 50 billion, was won by Jaya Konstruksi, which is a DKI BUMD (Regionally-Owned Enterprises).
"In fact, there is a limit for BUMD or construction SOEs at least working on projects worth IDR 100 billion", he said.
As is known, PT Jakpro as the DKI BUMD which organizes Formula E has finally determined the winner of the tender for the circuit construction tender.
The previous tender auction process was quite tortuous. Sometime before, the auction, which had been open since early January, was declared a failure and had to be re-auctioned.
Finally, Jakpro announced the winner of the circuit tender for the international Formula E racing event. It was PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama, Tbk who would later build the circuit in the Ancol area, North Jakarta.
