JAKARTA - The government's policy to set a cooking oil price of IDR 14,000 per liter has not been implemented properly. At Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta, there are still a number of traders selling packaged cooking oil at a price of 15 thousand per liter and bulk oil for Rp. 15,000 per kilo gram. This is because the distribution of cheap cooking oil from the government has sold out in just a few days. While public demand is still high, a number of traders are forced to buy from a number of agents.
