Violating PPKM, It Turns Out That Apollo Bar In South Jakarta Also Sells Alcohol That Doesn't Have A Distribution Permit

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Drugs and Drugs at the Metro Jaya Police held patrols in the context of handling COVID-19 in a number of restaurants or bars on Saturday, February 5 evening.

Director of Narcotics at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Mukti Juharsa said that his party found one place of business that violated PPKM Level 2 rules, namely Apollo Bar and Lounge.

This bar in Bellagio Building, Setiabudi, South Jakarta violates health protocols because it still operates after 12 pm and many visitors are not wearing masks.

"At last night's activity, they opened above operating hours because at 01.30 WIB they were still open. Many visitors did not wear masks, there was no social distancing, and the use of the PeduliLindung application was only a formality," Mukti said in a statement, Sunday, February 6.

In fact, said Mukti, there were other violations that were found. Apollo Bar apparently also sells alcoholic beverages that do not have a distribution permit.

"Officers confiscated several types of alcoholic beverages that were suspected of not having a distribution permit," he said.

Furthermore, Mukti said that his party also patrolled three other bars, namely Embassy Club, RAIA, and Chao Chao in the SCBD area, Senayan. However, these three places did not violate the PPKM, so no action was taken.

"A check was carried out and no violation of operating hours was found because it closed before 00.00 WIB," he said.
