According to him, the location that was severely affected by the flood occurred on Jalan A Yani Baturaja, precisely in front of Citimall (Cimall) Baturaja with water levels reaching 2 meters.

As a result of the natural disaster, access to vehicular traffic in the area was completely paralyzed due to the water submerged roads, and some cars were even caught in the flood due to engine failure.

His party was assisted by residents who were forced to evacuate dozens of motorbikes belonging to residents using rubber boats because the roads could not be passed by vehicles.

"Even based on data collection, up to this morning, four four-wheeled vehicles were caught in the flood and almost drowned," he said, quoted by Antara.

BPBD OKU has evacuated vehicles trapped by the flood and made efforts to suck up water so that traffic flow will return to normal.

"Efforts for desludging are still being carried out by our officers in the field. If it doesn't rain again, hopefully the flooding will be resolved soon," he said.
