Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra Reportedly Use New Selfie Camera

JAKARTA - Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are again widely discussed through the latest leaks. The two flagship phones that are expected to be present in 2027 are said to bring a new selfie camera.

Reported by GSMArena, quoted Friday, July 3, the front cameras of the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are said to use a new 16 MP sensor. This information has not been confirmed by Samsung, so it still needs to be treated as a rumor.

A source quoted by GSMArena suspects that the selfie camera sensor can be square. This shape is said to be similar to Apple's approach to the iPhone 17 series. However, this suspicion cannot be confirmed.

The Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ are also not completely closed off from the possibility of using the same new front camera sensor. Only, it is not clear whether Samsung will bring that improvement to all Galaxy S27 models or only to the Pro and Ultra variants.

In addition to the selfie camera, the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are also said to be equipped with a 50 MP telephoto camera and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. The telephoto camera is usually used to shoot objects from a distance, while the ultrawide is used to take pictures with a wider angle of view.

Another leak says the Galaxy S27 Pro will be a new model in 2027. This phone is said to be part of the Galaxy S27 family as a smaller version of the Galaxy S27 Ultra, but without an S Pen.

Until now, there has been no official announcement from Samsung. Therefore, all information regarding the Galaxy S27 Pro, Galaxy S27 Ultra, and the new selfie camera still needs to be read as an early leak.
