JAKARTA - Bandai Namco publisher together with developer Dimps officially announced that the latest series of the RPG action game Dragon Ball, titled Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will be released next year.
The game, previously known as the "Dragon Ball New Game Project AGE 1000" project, is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam).
In its announcement, Bandai Namco said Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 presents a new experience in the Dragon Ball world, where players can decide for themselves which heroes they want to play in an unexplored universe.
The game takes place in AGE 1000, a new future in the Dragon Ball universe featuring original characters designed directly by Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball.
Here, players will explore a new, more vibrant and evolving version of West City, meet various characters, and open new stories.
Players will join the Great Saiyan Squad and fight alongside allies as various events begin to take place in West City. Bandai Namco says the Dragon Ball world will continue to expand through new stories and characters in the series.
Until now, further gameplay details have not been revealed. However, the company ensures that additional information will be announced in the near future.
Bandai Namco also released a premiere announcement trailer that featured an early glimpse of the AGE 1000 world and its new characters.
