JAKARTA - Grab announced a funding commitment of US$3.2 million (Rp54.27 billion) for 2026 through the GrabForGood Fund, a perpetual fund appreciation program dedicated to supporting partners and the wider community.

This funding is intended for driver partners, merchant partners, and the general public throughout Southeast Asia, with three main pillars of the GrabForGood Fund, namely education, community support, and disaster relief.

Grab Group CEO and Co-Founder Anthony Tan stated that this program is designed to help people build a better future in the midst of existing systemic challenges.

"In 2026, we hope that these various programs can open up more opportunities ranging from providing nutritious food so that children can learn optimally, to providing full scholarships for students to continue their education to university level and improving the welfare of their families," he said.

As a form of leadership accountability, Anthony Tan also contributed personally worth more than 16 million US dollars (Rp. 271.36 billion), to strengthen the long-term mission of the endowment fund. This support was also supplemented by contributions from various individual and organizational donors.

The 2026 commitment continues the positive momentum that has been built over the past year. In 2025, the GrabForGood Fund has channeled more than 2 million US dollars (Rp33.9 billion), through educational assistance and full scholarships to more than 3,600 students in the GrabScholar program throughout Southeast Asia.

Since its launch in 2022, the GrabScholar program has supported 8,238 students in Southeast Asia.

In 2025 alone, as many as 3,486 schoolchildren received GrabScholar education assistance, and 117 students were awarded full merit scholarships.

In addition to focusing on education, Grab also runs the GrabAcademy program to improve driver partner skills.

By the end of 2025, more than 1.5 million partners have completed at least one training module.

In terms of sustainability, Grab has supported 17 environmental conservation projects throughout 2025 through the Green Program feature in its application, which allows users to contribute directly to climate action and nature conservation in Southeast Asia.
