Arif added that technology forecasting is very important to read the direction of the development of the space sector globally in the future. That way, Indonesia is not only a spectator in this sector, but can also compete actively.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Aeronautics and Space Research Organization (ORPA) BRIN, Robertus Heru Triharjanto, invited researchers to be more sensitive in reading technological trends. Researchers are considered to need to predict the needs of technology for the next five to ten years.
This is considered important because Robertus wants to reduce Indonesia's dependence on imported space technology. To achieve this vision, collaboration is needed so that the research produced remains relevant and in accordance with needs.
