OriginOS 6 Update Starts Rolling Out for Vivo T4 Pro

JAKARTA - Vivo officially began distributing the OriginOS 6 update for Vivo T4 Pro users this week. This update was slightly delayed from the official schedule, but came with a list of new features and significant improvements that users considered worth it.

OriginOS 6 for Vivo T4 Pro is based on Android 16 and carries the firmware number PD2503KF_EX_A_16.1.7.0.W30. Since it is a major update, the download size reaches around 3.85 GB. Vivo recommends users use a stable Wi-Fi connection when downloading this update.

As usual, Vivo first released this update to users who are included in the trial (trial/beta) program to ensure that the final version is free of critical bugs. Users who want to try early can join through the menu Settings > About Phone > System updates > Version Trial > Trial version, then download and install the update.

Vivo also reminds that the device has at least 10 GB of free storage space and a minimum battery power of 50% before the installation process. For additional security, users are advised to back up important data first.

In terms of features, OriginOS 6 brings many visual changes, new features, and system performance improvements. The interface gets a refresh through Origin Island for real-time notifications and information, a redesigned Control Center, new lighting effects, and a new system font to improve readability. The lock screen has also been updated with a new clock style, more flexible layout settings, and additional widgets.

Behind the scenes, OriginOS 6 brings various optimizations that make app launches faster, animations smoother, multitasking smoother, and battery efficiency better.

Some of the main improvements in OriginOS 6 include: - Improved visual effects and design systems, including a new generation of rounded screen corners and more transparent interface materials. - Lock screen with classic and personalized clock options, position, and information widgets such as weather and battery. - New 4x7 home screen layout, more flexible folder management, and improved app drawer mode. - Widgets with richer display and variations. - Separate Control Center and Notification Center for a cleaner and more informative display. - Origin Smooth Engine with a new scheduling system to improve speed, animation smoothness, and multitasking efficiency. - Origin Island as a global information window for system status, music, and important notifications. - Super Dragging feature for sharing cross-app content by drag and drop. - AI-based features such as AI Captions, AI Search, and AI Creation for productivity and information access. - Office Kit for cross-device connectivity between mobile phones with Windows or Mac computers, including screen mirroring and file transfer. - Improvements to built-in apps such as Notes, Recorder, Albums, File Manager, as well as health and privacy features. - Power optimization through Bypass Charging and new energy efficiency engine. - Additional security and privacy features, including Private Space and clipboard data protection.

With the launch of OriginOS 6, Vivo is targeting a faster, smoother, and more personalized user experience for Vivo T4 Pro users. The update will be available gradually, so users who have not received it are expected to wait for the next distribution turn.
