Gemini Can Now Be Accessed Directly On Google Chrome For IPhone

JAKARTA After the feature was leaked in September 2025, Gemini is now integrated with Chrome for the official iOS. iPhone users can now access Gemini without having to leave Google Chrome.

With this integration, iPhone users can take advantage of Gemini's Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities directly while exploring the web. The AI model can be accessed by pressing the new icon which is placed to the left of the address bar.

Previously, the icon was used to quickly access Google Lens. Through the launch of Gemini's integration, the icon has been converted into a page featuring a small splash of the Gemini logo.

When the icon is tapped, a new 'page Tool' sheet will be displayed. This sheet offers two main options, namely 'Search Screen' for Google Lens and the 'Ask Gemini' option. Users don't lose access quickly to Lens.

If the user selects 'Ask Gemini', the chatbot window will appear with the URL of the page being opened attached automatically. The user has the option to stop sharing the URL of the page by tapping the cross.

Gemini's integration is also equipped with very important command shortcuts. The 'page summary' shortcut can be knocked to get important points and key information from the page being opened.

In addition, there is a shortcut to 'Create FAQ on this topic'. This feature can generate a List of Questions that are often raised based on information from pages that are opened and other similar sites.
