JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs is committed to supporting the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) in holding the 2025 National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas), which will take place on December 10-16, with the peak of the event on 12.12.
"We all hope that and the mechanism has been made, most of which will recruit or transact products from local MSMEs," said Special Staff to the Minister of Communication and Politics, Arnanto Nurprabowo, at a press conference Tuesday, December 9.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA), Hilmi Adrianto said, Harbolnas this year will be focused on MSMEs, with 1,300 digital business actors from all e-commerce platforms will participate in the annual program.
The government also ensures that this year's Harbolnas event will continue with a transaction target of Rp35 trillion, even though Indonesia is facing post-disaster situations in Aceh and Sumatra.
"We are still optimistic (the target of Rp35 trillion) that actually there are still many of these promos that can stimulate sales of local products themselves," Hilmi explained to the media.

"I think from MSME players themselves even though the affected areas cannot because the recovery process is currently underway, but there are actually many people who can continue to shop," he added.
