Xiaomi Ready To Challenge Galaxy Z TriFold With Its Own Tripled Phone

JAKARTA The competition in the foldable phone market seems to be getting hotter after strong indications emerged that Xiaomi is preparing a triplet device (trifold) to challenge Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, which was just introduced earlier this December.

Information about the device was revealed through a new certification from the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA), which has again sparked speculation that Xiaomi is preparing a big surprise in the ultra-premium device segment.

The device in question appears with model number 2608BPX34C, which is believed to be part of Xiaomi's triple foldable phone project. Initial reports say that this device is likely to be marketed under the name Xiaomi Mix TriFold, continuing the Mix line tradition that has been known as a forum for Xiaomi design innovation.

The certification findings were first revealed on the XiaomiTime site and immediately became the spotlight of technology observers. Through industry sources quoted from popular Yogesh Brar tipster, this triple Xiaomi device is expected to be introduced in 2026.

Brar also said that the overall dimension of the device would be very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, being an indication that Xiaomi is targeting the same user category, namely those requiring devices that can change from standard phones to full tablets in one complex fold.

However, until now there has been no concrete leak regarding other specifications such as chipsets, hinge types, camera configurations, or screen technology to be used. Information from GSMA certification also does not provide further technical details than confirmation that the device is really in the administrative process to be prepared for the global market.
