JAKARTA - The video streaming platform Mola TV will discontinue its service from December 31, 2025. After that date, the service is no longer accessible on all devices.
"We hereby inform you that the Mola service will stop operating effectively as of December 31, 2025. After that date, services will no longer be accessible or used on all application/device platforms," the announcement reads.
In his official notification to customers, Mola stated that the service termination process would follow the provisions of Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (UU PDP).
Mola emphasized that the customer's personal data provided when registering for service will no longer be used for operational purposes once the service is discontinued.
In addition, the removal or anonymity of personal data will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the PDP Law, unless there is an obligation to store data based on applicable law.
