Telkomsel Optimizes Network At 437 Crowd Points Ahead Of Nataru 2026

Welcoming the moment of Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru), Telkomsel predicts a surge in data traffic during, especially for video streaming, social media, and online gaming services.

To anticipate this spike, Telkomsel has optimized 4G and 5G networks at 437 crowded points such as shopping centers, homecoming routes, airports, ports, residential areas, and houses of worship, as well as monitoring through 15 Alert Network Command Posts.

The Telkomsel 5G network remains available in priority cities, will be supported with a total of more than 5,000 BTS 5G by the end of 2025, and strengthened with AI Autonomous Network technology.

In order for customers to stay comfortable enjoying connectivity at home, Telkomsel also strives to maintain the quality of home internet services, including through device modernization and proactive improvements.

"With network strengthening and leading technology, we are committed to maintaining the quality of connectivity so that every moment of togetherness can be enjoyed smoothly," said Telkomsel Network Director Indra Mardiatna.

In addition, Telkomsel has also prepared various products, SIM/eSIM card migration services, MyTelkomsel service assistance, to Telkomsel POIN exchange, through 17 Main Command Posts and 13 Regular Command Posts in various strategic locations, and 1 Digital Command Post on TikTok.

Furthermore, Telkomsel services can be found at 437 crowded points whose networks have been optimized.

"We are trying to ensure that customers can easily access Telkomsel services during the Christmas and New Year's special moments, both at the Command Post, GraPARI, digital, or various service points," Telkomsel Sales Director Stanislaus Susatyo.
