JAKARTA Apple continued testing iOS 26.2 by launching its third beta version on Monday, November 17. In this pre-release update, Apple is seen adding a number of new features.

As reported by 9to5mac, Apple is developing a new AirDrop capability. The file sharing tool and the media will get an inter-device transfer feature without the need to save contact for 30 days.

Apple is also seen perfecting the visualization of Liquid Glass designs. Although not visible, this design is optimized to overcome minor shortcomings, namely avoiding the numbers displayed to run away under certain conditions.

On the Lock Screen, Apple will add a more dramatic Liquid Glass slider. Previously, this slider could only adjust the transparency level on the Lock Screen clock. However, in the latest update, the feature works on every font option available.

Next, Apple will improve its service function. On iOS 26.2, Apple will add the ability to trigger alarms when urgent reminders are due. This new alarm provides a much higher notification rate than the usual warning.

For iPad users, Apple is seen perfecting the multitasking feature by bringing back Split View and Slide Over. Users will be able to drag the application icon directly from Dock to Slide Over or Split View during multitasking.

Finally, the leaked code shows changes to the voice assistant. Apple is developing the ability to replace Siri's summons as a built-in action when holding the side button. However, this feature feature seems limited to only a few countries.
