JAKARTA - A well-known leaker revealed that demand for the iPhone 16e is very low on the market. This leak came after Apple decided to stop production of the iPhone Air.

The iPhone 16e is the latest generation in the iPhone SE series. This device is classified as an entry-level so it is sold at a more affordable price, even cheaper than the standard iPhone on the same line.

This leak about low interest was first expressed by Fixed Focus Digital. The famous leaker, as reported by 9to5mac, stated that sales of the iPhone 16e did not match expectations.

Despite the lack of selling on the market, Apple will reportedly continue to develop the next generation, namely the iPhone 17e. This follow-up phone from the 'SE' series is expected to come with a simple update.

Apple's push to launch the iPhone 17e is based on an affordable device expansion strategy. According to reports circulating, the iPhone 17e will come globally in the coming spring.

On the other hand, the fate of the iPhone Air seems to have ended for now. Previously, many reports stated that Apple was cutting production on a large scale, but now Apple is said to have completely stopped working on the device.

It is still unclear whether the termination of iPhone Air production is permanent or only temporary to deplete stock. However, this termination is expected to occur due to low public interest in mobile phones with one camera configuration.
