More Sophisticated, Apple Watch Can Now Set Volumes Automatically

JAKARTA Apple Watch became more adaptive after watchOS 26 was released. The wearable device can now adjust the volume automatically without the user having to check regularly.

This automatically is much better than users imagine. With this capability, Apple Watch can adjust the volume of speakers automatically based on the noise level around it.

This means that when the user is in a crowded environment, the volume of the Apple Watch will increase. Meanwhile, when the user is in a quiet environment, the volume of the speaker will be lowered to avoid excessive playback.

This feature applies to various functions, ranging from notifications, alarms, time controllers, incoming calls, to Siri's response. According to Apple, this new capability allows users to stay connected to devices without worrying about disturbing people around them.

Although the feature is very useful, Apple has implemented a number of restrictions. This automatic volume adjustment feature will not be available on all Apple Watch models. Only eligible devices will get the update.

Apple has confirmed several models that will get this automatic volume feature. These capabilities will work on the Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and Apple Watch Ultra 3.

Users can check and activate the feature through the Watch application on their iPhone. The trick is to open the Voice and Haptic menu, then search for the transfer button to Adjust the Volume Automatically. This feature needs to be activated manually by the user.
