Telkomsel And BARDI Present IoT Solutions For Vehicle Safety

JAKARTA - Telkomsel inaugurated its latest collaboration with BARDI, in implementing the Internet of Things (IoT)-based integrated vehicle security solution in the cross-industrial ecosystem.

Through this collaboration, the BARDI Dashcam smart device has now been integrated with Telkomsel Enterprise's IoT technology, providing a more instant experience in processing bundling, activation, and IoT SIM card management on the dashcam device, so that it is directly connected when activated.

"As a trusted connectivity partner in the automotive, manufacturing and other industries, with a broadband network that reaches more than 97% of Indonesia's population, we are ready to support the implementation of IoT technology which encourages real-time vehicle efficiency and security," said Vice President Enterprise Product Management Telkomsel, Kwok Wai Kiat.

Through the BARDI Dashcam smart device, vehicle users can monitor security in real-time, record activities around vehicles, and access data through integrated applications.

With the support of Telkomsel Enterprise's IoT connectivity, this device is also part of the 'Always in Control' ecosystem, giving users full control of their vehicles at any time and anywhere.

"Through collaboration with Telkomsel, we want to present a 4G connectivity-based IoT device solution that not only improves user security and experience, but also expands IoT technology adoption in the automotive and manufacturing sectors," added BARDI President Director Michael Saputra.
