Gameplay Group announced a closed alpha testing plan for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, a 1v1 fight game recently announced based on the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Although the date for the closed alpha test has yet to be announced, the developer has revealed that it will feature four playable characters, namely Aang, Korra, Katara, and airing.

Meanwhile, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in the summer of 2026.
The game will feature 2D animated images that match the roots of this series, exclusive rollback netcodes, and full cross-play features for smooth and competitive gameplay.
Designed for new players and veterans, the game is said to channel the energy of classic fighting games while creating new breakthroughs in movement, style, and expression of combat.
Built with a focus on fluidity, responsiveness, and online integrity, this game invites players to find the real meaning of fighting for their purpose.
