JAKARTA - Hitachi Vantara announced its strategic partnership with Supermicro, in building a strong foundation for companies in developing AI infrastructure, mission-critical applications, and large-scale data-based workloads.

Through this partnership, Supermicro will sell VSP One to its customers, while Hitachi Vantara will be able to sell servers, storage, GPUs, and Supermicro's hardware systems while expanding product availability through established distribution networks.

The VSP One Block, which is combined with the Supermicro server, will later present an all-flash architecture with high throughput, low latency, and optimal IOPS performance to support mission-critical applications and AI training workloads.

The merger of Supermicro's leadership in AI computing with the scale and resilience of Hitachi Vantara's VSP One platform marks an important step in building a foundation that will form an AI entertainment future, said Sheila Rohra, Chief Executive Officer, Hitachi Vantara.

Sheila added, "With the service and support of the enterprise class, we help organizations gain better control over their data so they can open new sources of value and lead in the AI-driven business era."

By combining the expertise of each company, the partnership not only ensures that computing and data remain closely aligned, but also increases cross-workload visibility to generate faster insights for AI initiatives.

Supermicro and Hitachi collaborate to help companies accelerate AI adoption and utilization, concluded Vik Malyala, President and Managing Director, EMEA as well as Senior Vice President, Technology and AI, Supermicro.
