JAKARTA - The Dovetail Games have announced that it will launch its newest game, Metro Rivals: New York for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) in 2026.

"Metro Rivals: New York marks a bold new chapter in the portfolio of Dovetail Games, offering a real feel of pick-up-and-play, sensation, speed, and excitement in the simcade genre," said co-CEO Dovetail Games Rob O'Farrell in a press release citing Gematsu.

O'Farrell believes, this game will provide a very deep and interesting experience for players on all platforms to enjoy, both in single player mode maupn multiplayer mode.

"We are also pleased to announce we are working with a team at Reactional Music, introducing the procedural music machine to Rival Metro: New York," added O'Farrell.

Marvel Rivals: New York presents intense action and strategy experiences at the heart of New York City futuristic. You will start your journey as a new driver on an obsolete train and big ambition to challenge the Track Plants, underground stars who control ten districts with prestige and power.

In single player story mode, you have to complete various missions, deliver passengers, and do high-risk racing in order to earn money, followers, and reputation. Every victory opens up opportunities to challenge the Titan and seize their territory one by one.

In addition, PvP mode allows up to four players to fight directly on the same track, displaying quick action, track strategies, and the use of each character's unique abilities.

With New York's deep train customization system, full of neon lights and brutal competition, the game combines elements of racing, simulation, and cinematic narrative in one thrilling experience.
