OPPO Find X9 Series Will Be China's First ESIM Phone

JAKARTA OPPO is ready to launch its newest flagship series in China. Ahead of the launch, another leak from this device was revealed, one of which was support for eSIM connectivity.

This is an unusual improvement. There are two models that will have the support of this connectivity, namely Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. These two devices will be the first to offer eSIM in China.

This leak has also been confirmed directly by OPPO's Head of Find Product Zhou Yibao via a Weibo post. Launching from Gizmochina, the launch is in line with China's new approval for eSIM commercial trials by all three major operators.

The Find X9 series will be powered by MediaTek's 9500 Dimensity processor. This processor is expected to offer the best performance and efficiency. Along with the launch of the Find X9 line, OPPO also introduced the updated ColorOS 16.

For the camera, this latest device uses a modified camera with Hasselblad to provide a professional class photography experience. The main features include Dolby Vision 4K 120fps video recording support.

In addition, OPPO also introduced the Hasselblad XPAN film mode with visual animation effects and special core sounds. To complement its photography experience, OPPO will also release the latest Hasselblad Professional Imaging Kits such as magnetic handles, protective casings, and shoulder straps.

The Find X9 series is also rumored to have the usual battery life. The standard X9 model will have a 7.025mAh battery, while the Pro version will use a larger battery, which is 7.500mAh.

Both models offer 80W cable charging and 50 W wireless. The Find X9 series is expected to be launched globally by the end of October. For the Indian market, this phone is likely to be available starting November 18.
