Pixel 10 Users Report Frequent Crash Applications After October Update

JAKARTA - Google just rolled out an October system update for Pixel devices last week, but a number of Pixel 10 users started reporting serious problems: apps on their phones often crash randomly.

Several threads on Reddit show that the Pixel 10 Pro model appears to be the most affected. Nonetheless, reports from standard Pixel 10 users are also starting to emerge.

After the October update, all apps started to crash randomly or stop on the Slash screen. I've tried restarting several times, but it still happens," wrote one user who started the discussion.

Another user added: 'Just yesterday I experienced this. It's very annoying. Even if the app can open, I can't touch anything and eventually crash too.'

Temporary Solutions

Amid the many complaints, there is one user who claims to have found a temporary solution.

The solution I found was: after the October Android update, uninstall the Google Play Services and Google Play Store updates. But this will get you out of your Google account on your phone, so make sure you have an account recovery method before doing so.

However, this method is risky, as deleting updates on core services such as the Play Services and Play Store can cause system problems or other functionality on mobile phones.

Some users report this solution is successful, while others say crashes still occur even though they have followed these steps.

Google Hasn't Commented Yet

Until now, Google has not issued an official statement regarding this issue. Given the increasing number of reports, it is hoped that the company will immediately release a patch or bug repair in the near future.

If you are a Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro user and have not installed an October update, it is recommended to temporarily delay until there is an official fix from Google.
