Huawei Releases 80 Standards, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA Huawei launched the Pura 80 Series in mid-September, but the company missed the standard model. Now, the company has finally presented the Pura 80 variant.

"This is the latest icon, Pura 80," said Edy Supartono, Senior Retail Manager of Huawei Device Indonesia, at the launch of the Watch GT 6 Series on Thursday, October 9. "This feature is not just technology, but this series guides the ability of high-end photography with a touch of fashion."

The design of Pura 80 features a modern Flat-edge design. The back is covered with opaque glass which is claimed to offer a subtle sensation when held. This device is available in two color choices, namely Frosted Black and Frosted Gold.

This device is equipped with an Ultra Chroma XMAGE Camera. This camera technology is designed to accurately reproduce millions of original colors. This feature works in a variety of lighting conditions, from light to very minimal light.

Users can also take advantage of zoom up to 100x capabilities to capture details remotely. Although the specifications of the core sensor are not detailed, this zoom reach capability makes it a serious competitor in the mobile photography segment.

Pura 80 is equipped with a HUAWEI X-True Display screen which has peak brightness reaching 2,800 nits. This high brightness level ensures the screen visibility remains optimal even in direct sunlight.

This screen is also supported by an adaptive 1120 Hz refresh rate which aims at a smoother scrolling experience. For resilience, this device relies on the 2nd Generation Kunlun Glass. This protective glass is claimed to be 20x more resilient than the previous material.

Pura 80 is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5,170 mAh. This device also supports SuperCharge 66 W fast charging and 50 W wireless. The battery capacity and charging speed are designed to support user activity throughout the day.

The additional features introduced are smart controls that can be accessed via physical buttons. Double taps can open previously specified features or apps. Holding the button will enable a series of smart features.
