Huawei Watch GT 6 Series Officially Present In Indonesia, Can Last Up To 21 Days

JAKARTA Huawei launched the Watch GT 6 Series, its newest smartwatch on Thursday, October 9. This smartwatch comes with a premium design, better battery resistance, and the latest features.

In this launch, there were two types of devices presented, namely standard GT 6 and GT 6 Pro. The standard version is presented for modern users who want innovation in premium designs, while GT 6 Pro targets professionals and athletes.

The main innovation of this device is Cycling Virtual Power technology that is able to calculate the (watt) power from cycling activity automatically. This feature will eliminate the user's need for an external power meter.

GT 6 Series is also equipped with the All-new Sunflower Positioning System for intuitive navigation. This smartwatch offers more than 100 sports modes, including the Golf Pro with a vector map of 17,000+ golf course.

Specifically for the GT 6 Pro variant, Huawei added free diving support with EN13319 certification and more professional golf modes. In addition, this device can connect with pro-level sensors such as sensor confidence and heart rate straps for comprehensive monitoring.

For durability, this device uses a high-silicon battery that can increase capacity by up to 65 percent compared to the previous generation. The GT 6 Pro and GT 6 size 46 mm variants are able to operate for up to 21 days. While GT 6 size 41 mm lasts up to 14 days.

This smartwatch series comes with a triple protection consisting of titanium alloy, sphire glass, and ceramic nanocrystal materials. Huawei also uses an ultra-hard metallic coating layer for maximum durability and premium display.

All variants use an ultra-bright AMOLED 3000 nits screen which is 5.5 percent larger than the GT 5 series. For health needs, the GT 6 Series is equipped with the latest proactive TruSense system. Especially for the GT 6 Pro variant, there is an ECG feature that can measure and analyze heart electric activity in real-time.

All models also feature Pulse-Wave Arrhythmia Analysis and Multi-dimensional Emotional Wellbeing which can measure 12 emotional conditions. Huawei also embeds TruSleep to measure and improve the accuracy of tracking sleep quality in detail.

HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series basic variants are priced starting at IDR 3,499,000, while the GT 6 Pro variant is priced starting at IDR 4,599,000. Alternatively, you can consider Samsung Galaxy M62 or Tecno Pova 7. Both offer 7000mAh batteries.
