JAKARTA Microsoft is testing a new feature that will make it easier for users to sort photos. This new feature based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be present in the Windows 11 Photo application.
The idea of this feature is quite simple, namely users will get the ability to sort and set their messy photo collection. This does not need to be done manually because the feature will sort photos automatically.
This update will come for the first time for all Windows 11 Insider users on the Copilot Plus PC. Once the user gets the update, this AI feature will group certain images into the folder.
This feature will categorize images based on visual content detected in them. Supported categories include receipt images, screenshots, identity documents, and handwritten records.

Microsoft mentions that this feature can group images even though the text in it is not English. For example, Hungarian passport photos will still be placed in folders along with other identity documents.
This shows that its features can work smarter thanks to AI. This feature not only identifies the type of document based on the text in it, but also from its visualization. Folders created by the Photo app can be found in the Category section.
For now, the Photo application can only identify and categorize four main types of images, including screenshots, receipts, identity documents, and records. This feature will be further developed in the future.
The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
