JAKARTA Samsung has introduced the last model of the S25 line, namely the Galaxy S25 FE which will be launched on September 26. This indicates the close presence of the Galaxy S26 Series.

As in previous years, Samsung always launched its flagship phones at the beginning of the year. The launch of the Galaxy S25 series was also carried out in January this year so that the next generation Galaxy flagship phones will certainly arrive in the first quarter of 2026.

This is in line with Samsung tradition, as reported by the Phone Arena. Based on data from the previous series release, the Galaxy S23 was announced on February 1, 2023, while the Galaxy S24 was on January 17, 2024. The Galaxy S25 was announced on January 22, 2025.

Seeing this pattern, it is likely that the Galaxy Unpacked event for the Galaxy S26 series will take place in mid-January or early February 2026. The event is expected to fall on Wednesday, according to previous release habits.

Until now, Samsung has not provided official confirmation regarding the launch schedule. However, various rumors and leaks continue to emerge, indicating the launch of the Galaxy S26 series which is only a matter of counting months.

VOI also had time to ask for a leak directly from Samsung Indonesia, but they refused to answer. The company's representatives stated that they would share launch invitations if the expected model was already there.

The representative also emphasized that launches in Indonesia will be carried out simultaneously with global launches. "It must always be together (launching). If the S series is flagship and foldable, it usually (disburses) at the same time," he added.

In addition to the schedule, there were also leaks that mentioned changes to the latest line of series products from the 'S' line. Rumors claim there will be no Galaxy S26 Plus, but Galaxy S26 Edge. This device is reportedly going to have a very thin design.
