JAKARTA In June 2025, Gemini Live's access to Google's default apps such as Keep and Tasks is still limited to a small group of users. Now, the support is widely available.

Launching from the 9to5google report, this support is already available to all Gemini users on Android and iOS. Users can enable the feature when opening the Keep and Tasks apps to ask questions.

This launch is a continuation of the announcement at the I/O 2025 event in May 2025. At that time, Google explained how Gemini Live could create events on Calendar, add reminders on Tasks, and add notes to Keep.

Gemini Live can also access the information stored in the app while submitting a command in another app. Especially for phones from Samsung, Gemini Live can be used to access Calendar, Notes and Cares.

Through this integration, Gemini Live not only provides information in general, but can also help users access their personal data. Users will get a smooth chat experience.

To use it, users can name an integrated Google application to request access. In addition, users can apply for a fairly general command like 'Do I have a reminder today?'.

Once a question is asked, Gemini will automatically process the request and look for relevant information from the connected app. Access to this app can work alongside the feature of activating videos and sharing screens.
