JAKARTA - Amazon Web Services (AWS) is organizing AWS AI League, the latest global competition designed to accelerate artificial intelligence innovation (AI) and AI skills development, especially for Genai among workers, in Jakarta.
AWS AI League provides opportunities for companies and developers to learn the basics of AI directly, ranging from fine-tuning, model customization, to promotion engineering, while completing real business challenges.
By combining theory and practice, this competition also encourages collaboration, experimentation, and exchange of ideas between developers, as well as spurring the spirit of competition through ranking boards.
Winners from the Jakarta edition will bring home the AWS AI League Jakarta Champion title as well as direct tickets to compete in the final round of the global championship at AWS re: Invent 2025 in Las Vegas, next December, and have the opportunity to win a grand prize worth 25,000 US dollars (around Rp407 million).
Apart from Jakarta, this competition was also present at AWS Summit in Bogota, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Head of Training & Certification Indonesia, AWS, Yashinta Bahana said that AWS AI League reflects the company's commitment to encouraging AI innovation and ensures that this technology can be accessed by anyone.

AWS also announced that since 2017, more than one million Indonesians have participated in cloud skill training. This achievement shows AWS' long-term commitment in supporting the growth of digital talent in Indonesia.
