JAKARTA - The AI hardware startup,500 Labs, officially introduces Halo, the latest generation smart glasses that combine multimodal conversation interfaces with AI-based personal memory features.

Halo is the latest generation of smart glasses, having previously owned a Frame, a smart glasses dubbed "realignment of glasses for the artificial intelligence era."

In its official statement, Brilliant Labs said that the company made various internal changes, including the restructuring of teams and supply chains, in order to strengthen the foundations of long-term innovation.

One of the most prominent features of Halo is its focus on memory. Halo via an AI system called Noa is able to record, study, and filter important information from what users see, hear, and say.

The goal is to create personal agents that are not only functional, but also to be able to understand the context of the user's life in the long term in private and reliable.

"Imagine the potential of a trusted and private personal agent, being able to trace your life for years" possible things that were previously unimaginable are now open, the company wrote on its official website.

In terms of hardware, Halo is not designed to rely on heavy processors, WiFis, or large-capacity camera sensors. Halo uses a low-power AI processor, one camera, color screen, two speakers, and additional microphones.

All of this is designed for the convenience of using throughout the day and efficient AI interactions. Such an approach will also make Halo more power-efficient, affordable, and elegant.

Halo pre-orders have opened today, but new shipments will start at the end of November 2025, at a price of 299 US dollars or around Rp. 4.93 million.
