JAKARTA YouTube launched two new features of Artificial Intelligence (AI) power to explore content more easily. The two features introduced by the platform are Ask and Carousel Search.
"Today we introduced two AI updates to help you dive deeper, learn faster, and find what you're looking for more easily on YouTube," YouTube said, quoted from its official blog on Saturday, June 28.
The Search Results Carousel is an interesting feature because YouTube will feature video clips of related searches at the top of search results. YouTube will also include a relevant topic description of YouTube creators.

This feature is presented so that users can easily search for videos. For example, when users look for the 'best Beach in Hawaii', the results of the top search will highlight video clips such as snorkeling or volcanic beaches, complete with a description.
The Search Results Carousel feature is available, but is limited to Premium YouTube members in the US. Users can take advantage of this feature to seek information about shopping, travel, or anything that can be done in certain places.
Next, the user will get Ask's feature, an AI-based conversation tool. Users can access this feature via the video playback page, precisely between Share and Download buttons.
When this feature is enabled, users can request a summary of the video that is currently playing, requesting information about the song played in the video, requesting related content, and much more. This feature will be rolled out to all users in the US.
