Vivo has confirmed that it will officially launch the Vivo T4 Ultra on June 11, 2025 in India. This device is the successor to the Vivo T3 Ultra and comes not only with increased performance, but also with photographic capabilities that are claimed to be equivalent to flagship phones. Ahead of its launch, Vivo has shared camera specifications that will be one of the main selling points of the T4 Ultra.
Vivo T4 Ultra will be equipped with a 50 megapixel main camera Sony IMX921 equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) technology. This sensor was previously also used on Vivo flagship phones such as Vivo X200, X200s, iQOO 13, and Vivo V50. This indicates that Vivo is not playing games in providing the best photography quality on T series devices that are usually better known for its focus on performance.
Different from its predecessor, the Vivo T3 Ultra, which only has two rear cameras, the T4 Ultra comes with an additional 50 megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto periscope camera. This camera also supports OIS and is capable of optical broadening up to 3x as well as digital zoom up to 100x. Not only that, but this camera is also capable of being used for macro photos remotely, making it one of the flagship features that is rarely found in intermediate price classes.
Meanwhile, the ultra-wide camera on this phone will have a resolution of 8 megapixels. Although not officially confirmed yet, it is likely that this sensor uses a Samsung JN1 lens, which is quite commonly used on various Vivo devices.
In addition to the camera's capabilities, the Vivo T4 Ultra will also come with a quad-curved design OLED screen. This screen will support 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, offering a sharp, responsive, and elegant visual experience, both when used to watch multimedia content and play games.

For performance matters, Vivo provides the latest T4 Ultra with the latest chipset from MediaTek, namely Dimensity 9300 Plus. This chipset is capable of recording a score of up to 2 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, signaling that this device is ready to handle various heavy activities, including high-level gaming and multitasking. T4 Ultra will be available in two color choices, namely black and Phoenix Gold, giving a premium and stylish impression.
Many predict that the Vivo T4 Ultra is a rebranded version of the Vivo S20 Pro which was previously released in China at the end of 2024. In India, this device is expected to be priced at around IDR 6.7 million, and will be sold exclusively through the e-commerce Flipkart platform.
With a combination of flagship cameras, premium screens, and power performance, the Vivo T4 Ultra has the potential to be one of the best options in the upper middle class. In the next few days, Vivo is expected to reveal more details about the specifications and other features of this device ahead of its official launch.
