Indonesia Records Most Crypto Application User Growth In The World

JAKARTA - The latest State of Mobile 2025 report from Sensor Tower reveals that Indonesia occupies the second position as a country with the highest growing users of crypto applications globally in 2024.

The number of users of the country's crypto application increased by 54 percent compared to the previous year (YoY). Meanwhile, in the first place was occupied by Germany with a 91 percent jump, followed by Brazil and France, each of which recorded 47 percent growth.

This fact shows that Indonesia is considered a very potential market, with a digital population that continues to grow rapidly and the interest of the younger generation towards high crypto assets.

Seeing this trend, Tokocrypto CEO Calvin Kizana sees a great opportunity to expand crypto education and adoption.

"The growth of 54 percent of crypto application users in Indonesia is a positive signal that people are more comfortable and enthusiastic about interacting with crypto assets," Calvin said in a statement quoted on Friday, May 30.

According to him, this increase shows that the Indonesian people are increasingly open to crypto assets as part of their financial strategy. This is a great opportunity for industry players to continue to encourage education, product innovation, and expand adoption.

Calvin added that this increase not only reflects short-term trends, but also long-term opportunities for the development of the digital asset industry as a whole.

He stated that changes in user behavior, which are now more careful and educated, show signs of market maturity, especially in Indonesia.

"Many users are starting to see crypto not only as a speculative instrument, but as part of a long-term financial strategy. They are more aware of risks, are more selective in choosing the platform, and show great interest in education and security," he concluded.
