JAKARTA Google introduces the latest security features that are integrated with password managers. The feature in Google Chrome was announced through the I/O developer conference.
Google also released details of this feature on the Chrome developer's dedicated website. The company explains that password managers in Chrome can change passwords automatically if this tool detects a weak password.
This change certainly requires confirmation from users. If they don't want their passwords to be changed automatically, they can ignore warnings that appear in the top right corner of the screen.
"Automatically password changes make it easier for users to respond when their credentials are threatened," Google said. "When Chrome detects passwords that are broken into when logging in, Password Managers will provide repair options automatically."
Google also demonstrates what this feature looks like. For example, when a user login on a website, the Password Manager will scan the security of his account password.

If Google detects any danger, they will display a warning that reads 'Your password was found in the BREAK data'. At the bottom of the warning, Google will include the Change button for Me.
When the button is tapped, Google will change the password automatically. Once changed, Google will display the Replaced Password page with its latest email and password information.
"Chrome can create strong replacements and update passwords," explains Google. "This reduces barriers and helps users maintain the security of their accounts, without having to browse account settings or leave the process halfway through."
